Basket of Flowers

In this small artwork on flat canvas board, I first painted a sublime scene of a young woman travelling through a field carrying a basket of flowers in her right arm. I then decided to antique the painting with sepia glazes and the occasional imperfection to create the illusion of an old photograph.
